What is Minecraft ?
Minecraft is basically a sandbox game that allows you to do anything you want from fighting mobs, to creating magnificent structures however you want to. Awesome game, but gets boring quicky. How you build things? You basically harvest blocks by punching them or using the respective tools to obtain the blocks. For example, you harvest dirt blocks by using a shovel, and mine stone by using a pickaxe. You can place blocks by pressing the right mouse button. All tools must be crafted by you. I personally have played minecraft for about a year since its alpha release and i would have to say that its a really interesting game. I highly reccomend it to you. Minecraft is a game about breaking and placing blocks. At first, people built structures to protect against nocturnal monsters, but as the game grew players worked together to create wonderful, imaginative things. It can also be about adventuring with friends or watching the sun rise over a blocky ocean. It’s pretty. Brave players battle terrible things in The Nether, which is more scary than pretty.Minecraft is taking the nation by storm! It's an incredibly popular game and you can do pretty much anything you want on the game, especially with the addition of modifications. It's multiplayer and single player and contains both survival and creativity. Fighting, Crafting, Working, Building! The best thing about it is that you can do absolutely ANYTHING. Anything but switching the game off. It has had good reviews from the most trusted websites! And it has a brilliant review from me! Five stars!

I'd say the PC game is definitely worthwhile, because you can play on servers with friends and strangers basically, and you can play single player on your own where you can either survive and thrive and build up an empire, or build a mansion or something in creative mode with unlimited resources and flying. It's definitely worth the 25 bucks. When you buy it, you have it forever and you get all the awesome updates for free. They keep adding new features and stuff so it;s pretty awesome...Oh yeah and its all like blocks which makes it really fun to build stuff. People say the graphics are bad, but their not. Not at all. They're the way they're supposed to be.
